John Yang graduated with a B.S. degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University, obtained a M.S. degree in Management (Concentration: Marketing) from Purdue University, and received a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) at the University of Iowa. Since 2023, he has been serving as a professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Business School. His primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Consumer Behavior, Psychological Ownership, ESG/Sustainability, Product Design, and Consumer Desire. Currently, he teaches courses such as Marketing Management, Current Issues in Marketing, Global Area Marketing, and Principles of Business Management.
