Strategies on International Area Studies
Introduction
“Catch the Trends Shaping the Future of International Commerce and Trade” As KOTRA-HUFS special collaborating program for Korea and international area strategic studies, the Department of Strategies on International Area Studies at GSIAS provides a comprehensive curriculum interacting with international and regional commerce-related specialists. The curriculum focuses on international commerce field widely, reflecting on the dynamics of trends shaping the future of international commerce and trade, such as decarbonization, Metaverse/cyberspace, and digital and AI-related economy. It covers most of regions all over the world. In particular, the Department offers diverse research opportunities linking between theory through classes and the real-world practice by interacting with the prominent scholarship system. Collaborating with government-affiliated institutions and research agencies, graduate students are able to become international area strategic specialists with high competitiveness.
