The Institute of Indian Studies operates a reference room that collects and organizes materials related to India to facilitate research support and information. It houses 6,400 volumes including books, papers, academic journals, and periodicals as well as 200 media sources (Videocassettes, CDs, DVDs). The Institute regularly acquires books and subscribes to periodicals for up-to-date data collection.
